Nicholas’ executive experiences include a term as president of Lambda Kappa Music Fraternity, board member of the Eastman School of Music Graduate Students Association, and Senior Advisor to Brew City Opera of Milwaukee. Soprano Keely Futterer, praised by Opera News as a “high-quality lyric soprano…with a keen verbal nuance,” has been seen in performances across the globe in China, Italy and the United States. Career highlights of Ms. Futterer include Elle in La Voix Humaine, the title role in Suor Angelica, Fiordiligi in Così fan tutte, and Countess Almaviva in Le nozze di Figaro. Recently, she received critical acclaim for her role debut of Marie in La fille du Régiment at Opera Saratoga, where she was reviewed as having “one of the most gorgeous voices you can imagine with charm to match.”

Hailed for her classical “voice with silver wings” and her “powerful belt” Dr. Corinne Ness has made a career crossing vocal genres. Equally at home in classical and contemporary repertoire, Dr. Ness has performed in venues across the country and in China. Her students have sung at the Lyric Opera and on Broadway, and can be seen on stages in the United States, Canada, and China. Her students have earned advanced degrees from top conservatories and graduate programs, and have busy careers in teaching, directing, conducting, and arts administration.

Sarah Bertrand is a versatile young leader, with professional credits as an artist, teacher, administrator, and behavioral technician. Ms. Bertrand has performed in the United States and Italy, specializing in Baroque and New Music, as well as serving as Cantor for Our Lady of Victory in Rochester, NY, where they specialize in a full Latin Mass. Due to her keen musicianship, lyric voice, and passion for New Music, Ms. Bertrand was asked to premiere Louis Karchin’s Two Songs on Poems of Seamus Heaney, a revised edition for Soprano and Piano in 2013. Rick is a professor of computer science and a theatre artist living in Kenosha. Rick is an alumnus of Carthage College, where he studied both computer science and theatre. Upon completion of his graduate studies at the Georgia Institute of Technology, Rick was thrilled to return to Carthage and to Kenosha to teach computer science alongside the same faculty members who were his instructors and mentors in the past. Jessica DeBoer is a violist and educator in Kenosha. She graduated with a Bachelor’s of Music in viola performance from Hope College (Holland, MI) and a Master’s Degree in Music Theory from The University of Wisconsin-Madison. While living in Madison she taught viola and violin at the Prairie Music Academy in Sun Prairie, was a member of the Yahara String Quartet, and was a violist with the Beloit-Janesville Symphony Orchestra. After moving to Kenosha in 2005, Jessica created a thriving private studio and took on the role of music librarian and violist for the Kenosha Symphony Orchestra. Kaila is a vocalist, violinist, music teacher, and director living in Kenosha. Kaila has served as the Interim Executive Director of the Kenosha Symphony, taught middle school choir and orchestra in West Bend, music directed and composed for theater companies in the Milwaukee area, founded the West Bend Theatre Company, and sat on several theatre company boards.
